Hearing aids seem pretty similar to glasses, but do they really work the same? In today’s episode of Common Myths, Chris Medina shows you just how different they are. Glasses improve your vision as soon as you put them on, but hearing aids can take time to adjust. In fact, it's normal for many people to go through counseling and auditory training so they can get used to their hearing aids. That’s why it’s so important to have a trained professional take care of your ears.

Chris Medina is the Hearing Aid Specialist at Virtue Hearing Aid Center. As a second-generation hearing aid specialist, he’s been working in the hearing aid world since he was 18 when his uncle invited him to apprentice at the family practice. Chris loved that he could combine his interest in technology with a desire to help people. Chris has seen what a difference hearing aids have made in his own family, and he’s eager to give other families that same experience.
